The Vision

A platform that helps independent businesses attract nearby customers and gets people out of their homes and back into their local high streets.

The Problem

The high street is disappearing and so is human connection.

Local communities are being hollowed out by convenience-first digital platforms.

Consumers are increasingly isolated at home, conditioned to order everything online with minimal real-world interaction. At the same time, independent businesses are losing footfall, visibility and relevance, not because local demand no longer exists, but because discovery has moved online.

For many businesses, particularly at a local level, existing digital advertising channels are noisy, expensive and inefficient. Messages are broadcast widely, relevance is low, and smaller businesses struggle to compete against larger brands with greater budgets and reach.

Most platforms optimise for scale, impressions and delivery, not for relevance, timing or real-world engagement. As a result, people are overwhelmed with messages they didn’t ask for, while local businesses struggle to reach nearby customers who would otherwise be interested.

This has created two connected problems:

People are disengaging from their local communities

Independent businesses are being left behind

Human-Centric Philosophy

Designed for people, not just transactions.

This platform is built on a simple belief: meaningful human interaction still matters.

While the delivery and gig economy has optimised for speed and convenience, it has unintentionally reduced face-to-face engagement, weakened local relationships, and detached people from the places around them.

This product takes the opposite approach.

By encouraging people to leave their homes, explore their local area and engage directly with independent businesses, the platform helps rebuild the everyday human connections that high streets were originally built on, benefiting customers, businesses and communities alike.

The Solution

The Solution

A permission-based platform connecting local businesses with local customers.

The app gives people control over the brands and businesses they choose to hear from, replacing generic advertising with relevant, opt-in communication.

Customers build a personalised network of local businesses they care about, receiving timely offers and updates that reflect their interests and location. For businesses, this creates a direct channel to a nearby audience that has already chosen to engage, removing noise, wasted spend and reliance on broad, untargeted marketing.

By combining permission, relevance and timing, the platform turns discovery into real-world action, driving footfall, repeat visits and stronger relationships between customers and local businesses.

The Social Connection

More than offers, a relationship between businesses and customers.

Beyond individual offers, the platform creates an ongoing social connection between local businesses and their customers.

Customers can follow businesses they care about and receive relevant updates over time. For businesses, this creates a direct channel to a local audience, without relying on expensive advertising or complex marketing tools.

This connection transforms one-off visits into repeat engagement, helping independent businesses build loyalty within their local community.

AI for Business Enablement

AI for Business Enablement

AI-powered communication for non-marketers.

Most independent business owners are not marketers, and they shouldn’t have to be.

The platform uses AI to help businesses create clear, effective communications around their offers. By guiding tone, structure and messaging and personalising content for different audiences, the AI ensures offers are succinct, relevant and aligned with what customers respond to.

This reduces friction for business owners, improves the quality of communication across the platform, and allows the product to scale without increasing complexity for its users.

Market Opportunity & Scale

Start local. Scale globally.

The initial focus is on independent local businesses — a large, underserved market that relies on footfall and community engagement to survive.

Once the platform demonstrates traction at a local level, the opportunity expands significantly. Larger brands and national retailers gain access to a new way of reaching customers: location-specific, interest-driven offers delivered at the moment they matter most.

Over time, the platform becomes a powerful channel for businesses of all sizes to engage customers based on where they are, what they care about, and how they behave — unlocking global scale from a local foundation.

Competitive Landscape

Competitive Landscape

Built differently from existing platforms.

There are existing platforms that help customers discover nearby places or discounted offers, such as Too Good To Go and other “near me” style services. However, most are designed around one-off transactions, excess inventory, or passive listings.

This platform takes a fundamentally different approach.

Rather than optimising for clearance, delivery, or search results, it focuses on building ongoing relationships between customers and businesses, driving real-world engagement and repeat visits.

By combining local discovery, social connection and AI-powered communication, the platform occupies a distinct position that transactional, discount-led products do not address.

Validation & User Testing

Validation & User Testing

Designed to learn, validate and iterate.

The platform is currently in its early stages, with structured user testing planned as a core part of development.

Initial testing will focus on understanding:

How businesses create and communicate offers

How customers discover and respond to local opportunities

What drives repeat engagement and loyalty

User testing begins in spring 2026, with insights feeding directly into product decisions, messaging and the go-to-market strategy, ensuring the platform is built around real user behaviour rather than assumptions.

The Roadmap

The Roadmap

From MVP to scalable platform.

The product roadmap is designed to balance speed, learning and long-term scale.

The initial MVP focuses on enabling independent businesses to create offers and connect with nearby customers. Insights from early user testing will inform rapid iteration, refinement and feature prioritisation.

As the platform matures, data and AI capabilities evolve to improve targeting, relevance and engagement. Over time, this foundation enables expansion to larger brands and more complex use cases — while maintaining a consistent focus on driving real-world interaction.
